Bernard's Tours will issue a refund for the deposit or the full amount paid by the customer if cancellation occurs at least 5 business days before the scheduled tour date. No refunds will be provided after this period, except in special circumstances as outlined in our refund policy.Guests who do not show up for their scheduled tour will be charged the remaining tour balance.
Refund policy
Refunds for deposits or payments will only be issued under the following circumstances:— The cruise ship does not dock at the port of St. Maarten at the scheduled tour time.
— Conditions prevent the cruise ship from disembarking passengers.
— Your flight to St. Maarten is cancelled.
— Bernard's Tours cancels the tour because of equipment malfunctions or adverse weather conditions.
— Bernard's Tours cancels the tour if there are not enough passengers to meet the trip requirements. In this case, you will be offered an alternative tour or a full refund.
— The client cancels the tour at least 5 business days prior to the scheduled tour date.
— Refund requests due to illness or sickness will only be considered upon receipt of an official doctor’s letter or medical certificate.
No refunds will be issued if the client is late to the tour's starting point or fails to show up after the ship has docked. This no-refund policy applies uniformly to all instances of 'no show' at the scheduled date and time (St. Maarten time) of the tour.
