Saint Martin is a tiny island nestled in the northern part of the Caribbean with two distinctive governments – Dutch and French

This tour starts on the Dutch side of the island and then on to the majestic French side. It guarantees an extraordinary journey on one of the most beautiful islands in the Caribbean. Imagine touring through some of the most exotic spots in Saint Martin.

On this tour you will get to see the panoramic view of Orient Bay, drive through Grand Case Village and visit the border between the French and Dutch part of the island. Tour Itinerary

Pick up at your Location

We welcome you on the Cruise Information Center, your hotel lobby, or any location you designate. We will provide you or your group to check in before you board on one of our air-conditioned vehicles. We ask that you bring your credit card or cash (US or Euros) to pay the remaining amount. Once all passengers have arrived, we will welcome you in one of our air-conditioned vehicles and start your wonderful adventure on the beautiful island of St Maarten/St Martin!

Visit The Great Salt Pond

Drive around the Great Salt Pond where see the Salt Pickers statue depicting how the salt was harvested in the olden days.

Drive Thru Fort Willem

 Next, we will drive through Fort Willem where you will get a great view of Philipsburg, Great Bay/ Little Bay and one of our historical forts “Fort Amsterdam” --The Fort was built by the Dutch in 1631 and is located on a peninsula that juts out between Great Bay and Little Bay. 

Visit Harold Jack Hill

Next stop will be Harold Jack Hill.  Take incredible photos and enjoy amazing panoramic views of Dutch St. Maarten from the top of Harold Jack Hill lookout point between Cole Bay and Philipsburg. You can spot the Caribbean islands of Saba, St. Eustatius, and Anguilla in the distance.

Stop for 10 minutes to take pictures.

Check out Simpson Bay Village

Then we will drive along Simpson Bay Village. See the St. Maarten Yacht Club where the million dollar yachts are docked in the bya. You will see the Simpson Bay Fish Market, where local fishermen land sell their catch. The Simpson Bay Market is also the location for a charming row of first-class Caribbean food eateries, each with different specialties. A visit to the market is a must to appreciate the local cuisine.

French & Dutch Border Monument:

St Martin is a dual culture island, with the French part in the north, and the Dutch part in the south, with a symbolic border lying between them. We will stop for you to take pictures and see the imaginary line that separates the island. 10 minutes stop

Visit Marigot the French Capital

Next stop Marigot: The French Capital. The town of Marigot owes its name to the existence ofmany marshes, the marigots, which were there in the past. Marigot has rows of patisseries and smart bistros that sit side by side. (French pastries, local and international cuisine). Visiting Marigot also means tasting the charm of local products in a traditional Caribbean atmosphere. Immerse yourself in the authenticity and hospitality of Saint-Martin as you browse the market. Shop the local merchant markets for your souvenirs for yourself, or family and friends back home. You can purchase local products, spices, clothing, jewelery etc. 1 hour 15 minute stop

Check out Fort Louis

Overlooking Marigot Bay and facing Anguilla is the largest historical monument in St.Martin and is named after King Louis XVI of France, who built a settlement to protect Marigot during his reign.  To access Fort Louis, you must climb the 91 steps that will take you to the top of the Fort.

Drive Thru Grand Case

Drive through Grand Case village. Grand Case village has a long sandybeach. It is well known for its many restaurants and beach bars.

Next stop Paradise view. The panoramic view overlooking Orient Bay, Pinel Island, Tintemarr and St Barts.  A 5 minute stop

After leaving the Paradise view, we will drive through the largest village on the French side of the island Quartier-d'Orleans English: French Quarter is a seaside village on the eastern coast of the island.

Last stop before going back to the ship is the capital of St Marteen, Philipsburg, the Dutch side of the Island. Beachfront bars line the boardwalk long the Great Bay Sea shore. Voorstraat, or Front Street, has duty-free shops, jewelry stores, electronic stores, and a historical landmark The Philipsburg Courthouse.

Tour ends in Philipsburg with the option to walk back to the ship.

Return to the pickup location.

Each tour comes to an end. We will bring you back to your location ahead of time where you were picked up. If you have come up with a cruise ship than we make sure that we’re back on time at your ship.
